From Highway 99: take the Ming Avenue exit west 5 miles to The Marketplace (just west of Gosford). The Marketplace shopping center is just south of CSUB.
"It's not rude to turn your back to the audience when you're rehearsing, so go easy on Hank Ray, and give him a warm welcome when he opens for my CD release party at 7 pm on Saturday, June 7 at Russo's Books at the Marketplace. I'll be releasing The Farewell Session, an EP featuring a collection of songs written as tributes to the history of the old Buck Owens recording studios which evolved into Fat Tracks, and, eventually into Pig Studio. The solo project was the last to be completed at the very site it pays tribute to, before it closed down. We'll be playing songs like There's a Ghost in this Building, The Last Man Standing, and Phat Chance. We'll also be playing some selections from my forthcoming CD, From Buck Owens Boulevard to Merle Haggard Drive, due to be released sometime in July. We'll also play a few old favorite Dr. BLTunes, some covers, and perhaps a song or two from Altar'd Hymns, a CD due for release in August or September.
